FAQ

What is EMF and where is it found?
Short for electromagnetic field, EMF is everywhere. From airplanes to cell towers, Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, and smart TVs, it’s hard to avoid EMF exposure in today’s world – and it’s impossible when the EMF is sitting against your temples all day. Unfortunately, the long-term consequences remain unknown.

Is it compatible with all smart glasses?
GlialStrip is designed to bring radiation protection to all Bluetooth eyeglasses, from Meta Ray-Bans to the AirGo and all other smart glasses brands.

How do I know it works?
Because we have the science to prove it. Real science that is, not pseudoscience. The GlialStrip uses science-backed materials to block EMF radiation emitted by your smart glasses, in turn supporting and protecting the neurons within the central and peripheral nervous system.

Is the strip visible on smart glasses?
No. We designed the EMF-repelling GlialStrip to blend seamlessly into the inside of your Bluetooth eyeglasses, adding discreet protection to your wearable tech. It won’t make your glasses look “bulky” or “weird” in any way. No one will know it’s there, and you’ll soon forget too.

How much EMF exposure is considered dangerous?
This is the center of heated scientific discussions worldwide. However, ICNERP guidelines have set EMF (electromagnetic field) exposure limits to between 100 kHz and 300 GHz. These guidelines exist to protect humans from the unknown side effects associated with ongoing EMF exposure through technologies like Wi-Fi, 5G, and Bluetooth. We at GlialStrip aren’t keen on waiting to see what the consequences of EMF exposure entail – prevention is better than cure.

Is it safe for kids and teens?
100%. GlialStrip’s EMF-repelling technology is safe for the whole family to use, giving you peace of mind without limiting their tech. Smart glasses are expensive, and GlialStrip respects that – it won’t ruin your $300-$600 look!

If it’s so important, why didn’t Meta or Ray-Ban make it?
Realistically, safety isn’t always profitable, particularly if it means acknowledging a risk. While Bluetooth eyeglasses can be truly life-changing, there are conflicting studies about the real EMF risks. Acknowledging EMF exposure as a risk stirs the pot and raises questions most tech companies would rather not answer. That’s why we created the add-on they didn’t. Instead of telling you to ditch your smart glasses altogether, we’re here to help you make them safer through proven radiation protection, so you can enjoy the convenience they offer, without the paranoia.
